My name is Rachel Sharn and I want to thank you for jumping in to a little corner of my world. I am a self-taught artist who grew up heavily inspired by the world around me. I was lucky enough to have family and friends who made art for a living or were just creative in general. I work with a variety of mediums--most recently I've been teaching myself to paint with acrylics. I also use gouache, pencil, ink, and digital media.

I graduated with my Bachelors of Science from Colorado State University in 2018. From 2019 to 2020 I lived in the rural jungle of Peru for almost two years volunteering and learning through culture, stories, and friendships. 

After returning to the States I began working on a cow calf operation and picked up art regularly again as something that was both fulfilling and healing. It has helped me focus on the beauty in the simplicity of day to day life.

My only hope for my art is that it may show you a little sliver of that beauty and of someone’s story.
